SOMETHING ABOUT GLOUCESTER CITY B.C.
With easy road access plenty of parking and located close to the city centre and within ½ mile of the regenerated Gloucester Docks and the designer outlet Gloucester Quays we are ideally located for touring sides.
Formed in 1907 the club shares its facilities with our neighbours Gloucester Spa. Both clubs have their own green and share an artificial green. In 2000 the club had a major makeover, a lottery grant and hard work from members of both clubs we now have a superb club house and bar facilities.
The season runs from mid April to the end of September. The club is open 7 days a week for bowling, with friendly’s on Saturdays, roll up’s on Wednesday evenings, and senior citizens triples mid week.
For the more competitive bowler we play in a 5 rink league every Thursday, we have 2 men sides in the county 2 rink leagues on Sundays, and the ladies play in a county 2 rink league on Tuesday, and both clubs entertain a Friday night league using both greens, plus county and national competitions.

New to the game of bowls or already playing why not pop down and see us, with plenty of bowls at the clubhouse to use, every Wednesday evening is our roll up night and someone will be there to show you how to play.
